An idea,
in motion.

Films I wrote, directed and cut with AI tools, next to the real recordings they sit beside. Every render is labelled as a render, every real screen as real.

An aerial of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota at dusk, the town and the lake lit with streaks of light
The hero film · 16 seconds, looping

Detroit Lakes, as a night that never happened.

The film at the top of the homepage is an AI render I directed: an aerial of the real town at dusk, with light trails drawn over the streets and the water. Rendered with Higgsfield from my shot list, then cut into a loop that plays only while you can see it.

AI render, labelled as one. The loop pauses with the Pause motion button.

The Baxstar Fishing logo over open water, the closing frame of the commercial
The commercial · 60 seconds, real footage

A minute on the water.

Fishing, open water and a close look at the Vexus, cut to sixty seconds and ending on the full logo. It plays on the boat page, next to the live site it was made for.

Real screens, in my own words.

No render here. The screen is mine, the voice is mine, and the mistakes stay in.

Make AI ask you questions before it builds anything.

Before it writes any code, have the AI ask you questions first. You answer its what-ifs before they turn into fixes.

Walkthrough · YouTube

The chaos-day tracker.

I was running too many AI threads and losing track. So I had AI build a small tool that logs the mess and drafts the day’s recap.

The boat site, in 39 seconds.

A real screen recording of boat.baxstarfishing.com, with captions. It plays on the boat page next to the live site.

What a video build delivers

One idea, cut to fit.

The way the class ad and the commercial were made.

  • 01A script you approve before anything is rendered or shot
  • 02Renders labelled as renders, real footage labelled as real
  • 03Cut for the place it runs: vertical for Reels and Shorts, wide for YouTube
  • 04Captions and a cover image to go with it, so it works with the sound off
Make one for your business

Questions, answered

Before you
ask for one.

Is the footage real or made with AI?

Both, and each one is labelled. The class ad and the hero film are AI renders I wrote and directed. The boat walkthrough is a real screen recording, and the Baxstar commercial is real footage from the water. When something is rendered, the caption next to it says so.

Can you make a video ad for a business like mine?

Yes, if there is a clear offer to put in it. I start with the one thing the ad has to say, write the script, then decide what should be rendered and what should be real. A vertical cut for Reels and Shorts comes first, and a wide cut for YouTube if you need one.

What do you need from me to make a video?

The offer, the place, and whatever real footage or photos you already have. If the ad needs real footage, we plan a short shoot. If it can be rendered, I direct it from your photos and a shot list. You approve the script before any render is made.

Your turn

What should people see first?

Tell me the one thing your business needs people to understand in thirty seconds. I’ll tell you whether it should be rendered, shot or recorded, and what it would take.
